Clark Burger
After lacrosse practice last week at Ridley Athletic Complex, a few of my teammates and I went out to dinner at Clark Burger. We were hungry for a good burger, fries, and milkshake and the upper classmen on the team told us that Clark Burger was the best! Its only 5 minutes away from Loyola University’s Campus and located on York Road right across from Belvedere Square. When we arrived, there was a line out the door and all the tables inside were filled so we knew it was a great spot.

Clark Burger is best known for their uniquely Canadian style menu, featuring poutine and fresh burgers. Before coming to Clark Burger, I didn’t know what poutine was but I’ve learned that its a common French Canadian dish, originating in Quebec, made with french fries, topped with a light brown gravy-like sauce and cheese curds. I’m not a huge fan of cheesy fries so I just ordered the “Original Burger” with cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickles, and CB sauce.

My friends and I got lucky and were able to sit at a table inside and really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant. Customers order at the register and seat themselves. There is also a bar for people to order drinks and socialize with friends. The fast and friendly service, created such a positive and fun space for dining and the music over the speakers was the cherry on top! Clark Burger is definitely a hidden gem in Baltimore and really speaks to the uplifting and inclusive community that the “foodie” culture creates.

I LOVED this burger, especially Clark Burger’s signature CB sauce. My friends and I each finished our burgers and ordered milkshakes to top it off! They were so delicious, we slurped down the milkshakes before we could even take a picture. I ordered mine chocolate with whipped cream and was stuffed by the time we left the restaurant. I can’t wait until the next time I’m back at Clark Burger!
